Stone shines again as England have it all to do

Olly Stone took six wickets in South Africa's second innings

Olly Stone took six wickets in South Africa's second innings

Olly Stone continued his impressive tour of South Africa in the second Youth Test in Paarl.

The Northamptonshire all-rounder followed his first innings analysis of 5/31 with second innings figures of 23-9-48-6 as the hosts declared on 320-8.

That left the tourists with a tricky task of making 328 to win the two-match series by a 2-0 margin.

And they made a bright opening, closing the third day on 31-0 with 287 needed on the final day.

Earlier, Stone had taken the first six South African wickets to fall but he couldn’t find any support as David Bedingham’s 131 masterminded an excellent recovery from 25-4.
