Cobblers lose Tim Flowers to Hull City as Iain Dowie named new manager
Northampton Town are looking for a new goalkeeping coach after Tim Flowers opted for a switch to Hull City.
Iain Dowie has taken over as manager of relegation-threatened Hull City to mastermind the club's fight for Premier League survival.
And Dowie has named Cobblers coach Flowers as his No.2, signalling the exit of Brian Horton.
The club acted quickly to appoint a new manager after deciding to dispense with the services of Phil Brown on Monday.
Four successive defeats have left Hull 19th in the table and three points adrift of safety.
