Cobblers get Liverpool in Carling Cup
Cobblers' reward for beating Reading in the Carling Cup is a plum third round tie against Liverpool at Anfield.
Ian Sampson's men will hope to replicate last Tuesday's heroics at the Madejski Stadium, where they eliminated the Royals on penalties after a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Town wll travel to Liverpool in the week commencing September 20, with the fixture sandwiched in between league games against Shrewsbury and Bradford.
