Cobblers' FA Cup second round tie at Stourbridge has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at the War Memorial Athletic Ground.

Referee Andy Davies twice inspected the surface and the match was eventually called off at 12.15pm, one hour and 45 minutes before the scheduled kick-off time.

It brought frustration for Cobblers, who were hoping to get back on track after four successive defeats.

But they will now have to go to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division side on a new date.
