Bones blitzed by Slough

Rothwell Town suffered a surprise 4-1 loss in the Southern League Division One Midlands.

Things were going perfectly for the third-placed side when Kevin Byrne gave them a sixth-minute lead.

But their hosts had won four of their five homes games prior to this and were in no mood for being hospitable.

They hit back when Tommy Hayes netted from close range on 22 minutes and were in front through on-loan Corby Town man Leon Hibbert just before half-time.

If Rob Dunion's men hoped for a second-half comeback they were frustrated as the Rebels struck again through Robbie Kean and Dean Harper.
