ANGLING: Morris the man in latest Ringer Pairs contest
Sunday’s round again produced decent winter weights, with Jason Morris winning on 91lb ahead of Steve Ringer 80lb and Ritchie Edmunds 73lb.
But the money was on the pairs results, with top pay-out going to Matt Snowdon and Andy Fullylove’s four point score.

Hide AdWith Phil away, Steve Ringer drafted dad Geoff in and they notched five points with 123lb – pretty good as it was the day BEFORE Geoff picked up his new specs – and lucky for them as they tied with Chris Hill and Lee Jepson on points but took runners-up spot on weight.
LOADSA-fish saw Rob Bassett paralyse the latest Bishops Bowl open with 105-4...followed a very long way behind by Paul Barnes 27-2 and Suzie 13-10.
WARM weather brought Stanwick’s 20s on feed, and Roman Rybacki had three going 26lb, 24 and 20. Kelvin Hale netted a 24, Louis Beaumont a 21 and Paul Burton a 20.
ON the Ouse ‘above Bedford’ Den Reid had a 6-1 chub, while Mike Sando had a 5-1 at Ravenstone. Steve Beale had a 12-6 barbel from Newport’s Ouse and Olney’s section saw Pat Flynn get 10lb of roach. Ross Deadman had eight perch around 2lb each and Dave Partridge a 3-5.

Hide AdCASTLE Ashby’s Sunday Grendon do fell to Chris Garratt with 88-4 as Steve Shakespeare netted 37lb and Charlie Edwards 31lb.
Wednesday’s Brickyard match saw Pete Gibson with 36-12 ahead of Paul Lafflin 34-8 and Ron Bull 26-12 while Saturday’s ‘Yard sweep went to Mick Hewlett 45-4 with Courtney Hewlett getting 27-12. Chris Scott and Mick Moody tied on 17-8.
