Former Northampton Town loan man Daniel Jones could be going out on loan again this season.
Jones, a popular player during his loan spell at Sixfields last season, where he played 25 games, has set himself a two-week deadline to force himself into first team contention at Wolves – or he may go out on loan.

The 22-year-old left-sided player, who greatly impressed Cobblers boss Stuart Gray and is in the final year of his contract at Molineux, scored one and set up the other in Tuesday's 2-0 win at Stafford Rangers.

Jones is hoping to further stake his claims in Tuesday's Carling Cup first-round tie at home to Accrington Stanley, where boss Mick McCarthy is expected to field one or two younger players.

Jones said: "The next couple of weeks are going to be important for me, to see where I am in the manager's plans."

"If I'm not involved or on the bench, I'll be looking to go out and hopefully play in the same division."

He added in the Express & Star: "The gaffer has told me there are clubs interested and hopefully I can go to a Championship club on loan."
