Oliver Avill lost his second fight out of nine this season at Walsall Football Club's Bescott Stadium but again did his growing reputation no harm.
The Far Cotton ABC boxer lost a majority verdict against James Beach, of Walsall ABC, but trainer John Daly was pleased with Avill's performance.

Daly said: "Beach wanted a test and he got one. It was a cracking fight.

"The dinner show pundits applauded for a good five minutes after the bout, it was real entertainment. Oliver did well against a very good boxer."
