Mark Robinson has targeted London Wasps' clash with Northampton Saints for his return after missing the start of the Guinness Premiership through injury.
The Kiwi scrum-half is joined by the champions' other leading summer recruit, Serge Betsen, in missing out on the game against London Irish at Twickenham.

Both were injured in pre-season games, with Robinson, who left Saints at the end of last season, being told to rest for the next two weeks after straining a calf last Friday against Llanelli Scarlets.

The popular Robinson is hoping that he will be fit to take on Saints at Franklin's Gardens on September 20.

Betsen, the former French flanker recruited from Biarritz as a replacement for the retired Lawrence Dallaglio, has not yet recovered from a tearing a medial ligament in his knee during a pre-season game against Dax.

He is expected to play in a reserve match next Monday against Harlequins at Henley.
