John Brake will lead Northampton Saints' squad for the Middlesex Sevens.
The 12-man squad heads to Twickenham on Saturday for the first time in two seasons, with a tough start against reigning champions Newcastle Falcons.

Brake, who played in the majority of England Sevens' tournaments last season, captains the squad.

Will Harries and Neil Starling are the other sevens internationals, and they will be joined by first teamers Paul Diggin, Dave Ward and Stuart Friswell.

Saints will be managed by Rob Hunter and coached by Ali Hepher and Grant Seely.

"The Middlesex Sevens is a good proving ground for players," said director of rugby Jim Mallinder.

"We are sending a squad that blends together members of the first team squad and senior and junior cademies."
