A motorcyclist was seriously injured after crashing on the A5 in Northamptonshire on Saturday.

The 46-year-old was riding a blue Suzuki motorcycle on the A5 southbound near Fosters Booth, at about 4.10pm on June 18 when the collision took place.

The motorcyclist overtook a beige camper van and was then in collision with an island in the carriageway.

The rider was thrown from their bike and sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
