Primrose Hill maintained their excellent start to the Racecourse League season with a 47-30 win over Amateurs.
Hill are yet to lose a match this season. and they continued their rich run of form with the rink of Bill Aldridge, Mick Evans, Kevin Evans and skip David Evans sealing the biggest win of 19-7.

Primrose skips Don Harrison and Phil Aldridge also h
elped their rinks seal victories of 13-11 and 15-12, to take a 47-30 match win.

The 2007 league winners Law Security are struggling to find their top form, and they suffered defeat against on-song Health.

Health skip Paul Harvey helped engineer his rink to a very strong win of 25-7, while their second rink headed by Pete Muddiman also sealed a 14-12 win.

Health did not have it all their way however, as Law skip Bob Trkulja helped his foursome past the post at 13-8 to take a point from the match.

The Ideal Motors Triples League continued, and saw Amateurs' bad week continue in their match against Doddridge.

Having gained no points in the league earlier in the week, they would have hoped for an improvement in the triples. It was not to be however, with the Doddridge trio of John Simpson, Philip Hutt and Richard Lovesey sealing a superb win of 25-6.

Doddridge continued Amateurs' woes with their skips Viv Walker and Richard Pitts sealing wins also of 15-8 and 13-8, to seal a huge match win of 53-21.

Health continued their excellent season with a five-point win over 20th Century, which saw their trio of Martin Cox, Andy Hornby and Pete Muddiman the most dominant with a 17-9 win.

Primrose Hill made it six matches unbeaten in their encounter with Law Security.

All three triples had good wins, with the trio of Graham Lay, Wally Banks and David Evans just edging the best win at 14-8. The final match score was 43-27 which sees Primrose stay top of the triples table.

The draw has been made for the league's Ideal Motors Individual Knockouts, and details of all these can be found, along with the latest results at www.racecoursebowls.co.uk

In division one, Northampton Express relinquished their place as leaders to Daventry Town A, but only by half a point.

Express A have dropped down two places and Kingsthorpe A have moved up the to mid-table.

Brackley in division two have also moved way up the table to claim top spot with Kingsthorpe B managing to hold onto second place.

Whyte Melville B, who were holding hands with their A team last week, have slipped down to third place.

Division four also has a new leader in Wootton B with Kislingbury B dropping down to second place.

Express B have moved up to mid table position only two points behind the leaders.
