Mark Perry returned to Northampton celebrating the success of Britain's open-water swimmers in booking their Olympic places in Seville.
The NSC director of swimming was part of the coaching team at the World Open Water Championships in Seville, which saw Cassandra Patten, Keri-Anne Payne and David Davies all post the qualification results needed in the 10km event to make the Beijing Olympic squad.

Patten and Davies both claimed silver in Seville in an event that Britain is competing at for the first time.

Perry, who helped coach Brixworth pool swimmer Caitlin McClatchey to the Olympics this summer, is part of the back-up team and will be going to Beijing to help in the quest for medals.
