Hollie claims another magnificent World Cup medal

Hollie Avil finished among the World Cup medals for the second time in a fortnight when she won silver in South Korea.
The hugely-talented teenager claimed a magnificent second place in the women's triathlon Tongyeong, South Korea.

The Northampton Swimming Club and Rugby & Northampton Athletics Club athlete was beaten on by by Samantha Warriner from New Zealand, who is 19 years her senior.

Avil, the world and European junior champion, said: "I just loved it out there today and enjoyed the experience."

In the men's race, fellow Brit Tim Don won his first World Cup event for four years

Don, the son of former Premiership football referee Phil Don, broke away on the final discipline, the 10km run.

The 30-year-old from Loughborough said: "I made sure I watched the women's race beforehand to see how technical the run course was. That's why I decided to push the pace on the twisty sections to make it hard on everybody else to catch me."
