DANCE diva Laura-Jayne Smith is to star in a Christmas workout video featuring the girls from the Eric Prydz smash hit club anthem, Call On Me.
The song, which has been number one for five weeks, shot to the top of the charts on the back of a steamy video featuring a bevy of scantily-clad beauties in an aerobics class.
The stars of the raunchy video, including former Moulton schoolgirl Laura-Jayne, are now set to cash in on the song's success by releasing a fitness video in time for Christmas.
The 23-year-old, who wears the skimpy turquoise and purple leotard in the video, said: "We are filming the video this week and we have all been doing the choreography for a while now. It's pretty full-on, I am absolutely shattered.
"The video lasts for an hour and 15 minutes and is really hard work.
"It's not a light workout, it's pretty intense.
"I can't believe how everything has taken off. All of the girls in the video have become good friends and it's fantastic to be part of it all.
"We are going to Germany this week and we are taking the song all over Europe."
The professional dancer, who has also performed with Craig David, Vanessa Mae and Westlife, started her career with a role in the West End show Saturday Night Fever before becoming a backing dancer.
All the Lycra-clad dancers in the steamy music video will appear in the workout session, which features a thumping Ministry of Sound soundtrack including Call On Me.
Laura-Jayne said: "All of us will be doing the video and I will be wearing the purple number again. I've grown to love it.
"When I went in to film the music video it was the last one left, but I have worn it so often I have become quite attached to it.
"They are genuine 1980s costumes from the BBC's wardrobe department and we keep having to hire them out, they won't let us keep them."
