INTERNATIONAL news channel CNN was at Sywell Aerodrome yesterday to film its aerobatic team in action.
The crew was filming footage for its programme CNN Business Traveller, which reports on travelling for business and is broadcast to more than 90 million homes and 890,000 hotel rooms.
They shot Sywell's display team The Blades, which will be among the aircraft taking part in Music in Flight, a spectacular airshow performed to live music taking place at Sywell in July.
Programme presenter Richard Quest said: "Music in Flight is such a unique event so we're here to film for a piece at the start of the programme and for a feature at the end of the programme."
Around 1,000 tickets have already been sold for Music in Flight, which takes place on July 21, and organisers hope to attract 5,000 people to the event.
Event organiser Toby Mallock said: "We are really happy to do the event here at Sywell again. The response we got last year was amazing. A lot of people came without any idea what it was all about but the feedback was fantastic.
"You don't have to be a fan of classical music or into planes to enjoy the show."
Tickets cost £25 for adults and £5 for five to 16-year-olds if booked before June 10. Call the box office on 0870 380 0146 to book.
