Woman named following fatal collision on Northamptonshire road

A 60-year-old woman who died following a two-vehicle collision at the weekend has been named by Northamptonshire Police.

Shirley McClements, from Nether Heyford, was involved in the incident outside Jacks Hill Café at about 12.30pm on the A5 north of Towcester on Sunday afternoon. (March 26).

A motorcyclist, a 51-year-old man from Coventry, also died in the collision.

Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 or call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615.
