A woman was attacked by a dog in a Northampton park.

The woman was walking her own dog in the pocket park in Pyket Way, Weston Favell, at about 2pm on Friday, December 11, when the crime happened.

Both the woman and her dog were attacked by a grey or black Staffordshire bull terrier, which was off its lead in the park.

The man who owned the dog was white, in his 30s with short, dark hair. He was wearing a blue hoodie and jeans.
