A watch with strong sentimental value was stolen from a pub in Brackley.

A handbag was taken from the Red Lion in Market Place, Brackley on the evening of Saturday, September 26.

It was later found in Herrieffs Farm Road, Brackley, but the contents, including the watch, a Huddle tablet computer, a pair of House of Marley earphones and some cash, was missing.

The Rolex watch, which is not highly valuable, but is of strong sentimental value, belonged to the victim’s late father.

The watch is pictured and has a distinctive scratch on the glass.
