A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital by air ambulance following a serious collision on the A14 in Northamptonshire.
The crash took place on the A14 at Islip at around 3.05pm on Wednesday June 11.
A blue Ford Fiesta was travelling westbound on the A14 when, for reasons still unknown, the 41-year-old woman driving lost control and was in collision with a white Ford Iveco travelling in the same direction.
The impact of the collision caused the Iveco, being driven by a 33-year-old man, to leave the carriageway and overturn, coming to rest on its side in a ditch. The Fiesta hit the central barrier, coming to rest in lane two.
The driver of the Iveco was taken to University Hospital Coventry by air ambulance with serious injuries.
