Two men arrested in connection with Northamptonshire Police car which was set on fire

Two men have been arrested in connection with an incident of arson, in which a police car was set on fire.

The men, aged 17 and 21, both from Daventry, were arrested on Thursday (November 12) and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The Vauxhall Astra patrol vehicle was parked at the Danetre Garage on the West March Industrial Estate in Daventry when it was set on fire just after 1am, on Tuesday, November 10.

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
