Two-car accident in Northampton saw fire service close a main road

All emergency services were called to a car crash in Northampton this morning.

The accident happened at 5.10am when two cars were in collisions in St James Road, near Northampton rail station.

A fire crew attended and were forced to close the road while they worked at he scene.

Although paramedics attended the aftermath of the accident , it is understood that nobody was seriously injured.
