Two men have been arrested after £20,000 worth of drugs were found in two properties in a Northamptonshire town.
Police searched two properties in Corby yesterday and arrested two men.
One man, Grant Thomson, 45, of Whitworth Avenue, Corby, has been charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply.
He appeared at Corby Magistrates’ court today and has been bailed to appear at Northampton Crown Court on Friday, September 11.
A quantity of illegal drugs were recovered, with an estimated street value of about £20,000.
Local Sector Commander Insp Vaughan Clarke said: “This was part of our ongoing work to dismantle the criminal networks in the town involved in the illegal supply of drugs.
“We will continue to target others in the town involved in this illegal trade, and will always seek to achieve the most robust sentence we can at court.”
