Long delays expected as car fire causes main Northampton road to close

A main road in Northampton is closed due to a car fire.

Harborough Road is closed in both directions from The Cock Inn on the corner of Mill Lane to Washington Street.

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service is at the scene dealing with the incident.

AA Traffic is reporting long delays through Kingsthorpe and Queens Park.
