A 14-year-old boy was robbed as he rode his bike in Northampton, according to information released by Northamptonshire Police today.

A spokesman said the teenager was cycling on the footpath between Spanslade Road and Little Billing Way at about 7.30pm on Tuesday, June 21, when a group of young men approached him and pushed him off the bike.

“The victim was then told to go away in the opposite direction before the offenders made off with the bike,” he said.

“The main offender was black, about 18, of medium build, 6ft, with short black hair and wearing a dark coloured jumper. He was with two white men of a similar age, one with blonde hair, the other with short brown hair,” he added.
