Teenage girl had phone and cards stolen by pick-pocket in Towcester

A teenage girl had her phone and cards stolen in an apparent pick-pocketing incident.

The girl noticed her items were missing from her pocket shortly after a teenage boy pushed into her in an alleyway in Willis Way, Towcester.

Between 12.30pm and 12.45pm on Sunday October 9 she was walking her dog down the alleyway towards the recreation field when a loud bang startled the dog.

As she went to attend to the dog, the boy barged into her, knocking her against the fence, and then ran off.

She immediately noticed the items missing from her pocket.

The suspect is described as being 12 to 15 years of age, around 5ft 7ins tall, and wore a dark blue or black hoodie with the hood up, covering his face.
