A teenage boy was assaulted by a man wearing a balaclava as he walked through a park in Northampton.

The boy was walking through Thornton Park towards Mill Lane in Kingsthorpe sometime between 8.30pm and 9pm on Wednesday, September 23, when he was attacked by a stranger.

The man is described as white, between 5ft 8in and 5ft 10in and was wearing dark clothes and a balaclava.

Witnesses, or anyone who knows anything about this incident, can call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
