A total of 200 children from 18 primary schools took part in a series of athletics events at Spratton Hall Prep School.
The events were organised by Pacesetter Sports, which employs 20 coaches covering 22 different sports.
The overall winners of the athletics event was Spratton Primary School.
Claire Radd, headteacher of Spratton Primary School, said: “The children who went to the athletics event at Spratton Hall had a really great experience; it was well organised and the activities were accessible whilst allowing the children to challenge themselves.
“It was fantastic to see our children working as teams, encouraging each other and the other teams too. We have been lucky enough to have been coached in school by Pacesetters staff this year - the staff and children have learned a lot from their input.
“We have really valued the expertise of their coaches and the children have made great progress. The children who attend are already looking forward to next year’s sessions.”
From September, Pacesetters will be coaching in just under 100 primary schools taking PE and extra-curricular clubs throughout the county.
