Stylistics head week of music and comedy
Music and comedy come to the stage at Derngate in Northampton.
Monday night will see The Stylistics back on tour with their smooth, sweet ballads.
The band scored 12 consecutive top 10 hits in the early 1970s and their classic songs include You're A Big Girl Now and You Make Me Feel Brand New.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are 16.50 and 19.50.
Then on Tuesday, following a world premiere at Liverpool's Capital of Culture, plus a performance at this summer's Big Chill, the groundbreaking improvising sound clash of The Bays and The Heritage Orchestra will be in town.

The performance kicks off with The Bays laying down improvised electronic music while John Metcalfe and Simon Hale compose live on laptops for the orchestra, responding to what they hear.
Conductor Jules Buckley sends these new scores to a specially devised network of flatscreen monitors – replacing traditional sheet music – where the orchestra pick up the newly written music and play it instantly, on the fly.
Neither the Bays nor the Orchestra know what to expect – the whole ensemble is improvising en masse – and it only happens once.
Tickets are 16.50, with concessions at 12.50, and the show starts at 8pm.
Then on Wednesday at 2pm audiences can enjoy an afternoon of nostalgia with Christmas Music Hall. Hosted by Tony Leyton and Shelley James, the show includes musical virtuoso Pete Lindup and The Magic of Safire International Illusionists. Tickets are 12.
On Wednesday evening comedian Joe Pasquale returns with a new stand-up tour.
Joe, who is currently hosting TV's Bingo Lotto each Friday on Virgin One and Challenge, has put together a show featuring all the manic mayhem, magic, mishaps and music that one expects from him.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are 17.50 and 18.50.
Finally on Friday, Billy Bragg, one of the greatest English songwriters and performers in history, will be performing with special guest Otis Gibbs. The show begins at 7.30pm and tickets are 16.
