Fire, magic and even donkeys helped make the Bradlaugh Fields Community Show put on one of its best performances yet.
Hundreds of families went along to the sun-drenched event, which was held just off Fulford Drive in Kingsthorpe on Saturday.
Children were able wide-eyed at magic tricks and open-mouthed and the flame juggling.
There was something to occupy all the senses, from noisy chainsaw displays to donkey rides.
Among the most popular events were the dog show in the main arena where four-legged friends showed their fleetness of foot and precision of nose.
For those hankering for less action and more relaxation, there was a bird-flying display and open air theatre.
Parents and children left happy after more than seven hours of fun.
