Sports fans in Northampton have been handed the chance of a double-bill of top amateur boxing and football action.
The Cobblers have linked up with Northampton ABC to offer the first 500 to buy tickets for the Ash Street club's show on October 24 a free ticket for the Coca-Cola League One clash with Colchester at Sixfields four days later.
Kings Heath ABC head coach Arthur Daly is match-maker for the boxing show at Northamptonshire Cricket Club's Lynn Wilson Centre and is promising a top quality bill.
Tickets for the show are 15 in advance and 10 on the night.
Daly says top of the bill for what he hopes will be a 14-fight line-up, is a clash between England Under-19 internationals Michael Joyce and Nathan Dale.
Kings Heath ABC ace Joyce and Dale, of Ferry Street ABC in King's Lynn, have both won Junior ABA titles and this will be their first senior contest over four rounds.
Daly is also promising boxers from Dale Youth ABC, who produced Beijing Olympic champion James DeGale, at the show against his star performers. Boxers from Northampton ABC will also be on the bill, which will be watched by the town's best pro for many years, former British title challenger Alan Bosworth.
Northampton ABC president John Morris is delighted with the tie-up with the Cobblers.
"This is wonderful news for the boxing club," said Morris. "It is a superb bonus for all our supporters, two exciting sporting events for the price of one.
"I have an association with the football club going back 50 years and hopefully it will create a bit more support for the Cobblers."
Northampton Town spokesman Gareth Willsher said: "We are building links with a number of sports clubs in the community and this fits in nicely with that. And if it helps the boxing club raise more funds then that is great."
