A bar punter suffered a fractured cheekbone after being assaulted on a night out in Northampton.

The victim, a 51-year-old man, was drinking with a group of friends in Bootleggers in Wellingborough Road when a fight broke out.

During the incident, which happened between 1.15am and 1.45am on Sunday, June 28, the victim was punched in the face, causing him to fall and fracture his cheekbone.

The offender is described as a tall, white man. He was wearing a white polo shirt and dark jeans and had a tattoo on his right arm.
