Cosmetics firm Avon has made 70 redundancies at its sites in Northampton and Corby in a move to save costs.
The company’s head offices are in Nunn Mills Road, with a factory in Corby.
An Avon spokesman said: “Avon is taking another important step in our plans to transform our global business, improve our competitiveness and invest in growth.
“Following the sale of our North American business, we have taken the opportunity to rethink our operating model to drive efficiencies, improve operational effectiveness and deliver significant cost savings.
“These changes do involve the elimination of 2,500 positions worldwide, including 70 in the UK spread across the Northampton and Corby sites.”
