Northampton Saints season ticket holders can now save on their train travel to home games, thanks to a new agreement with London Midland.

London Midland, which serves Northampton as well as running trains from London to Liverpool and across the West Midlands, is giving season ticket holders a 50 percent discount on their travel between Leighton Buzzard, Bletchley, Milton Keynes and Rugby and Northampton on match days.

All you have to do is present your season card when you purchase your rail ticket from manned booking offices.

“London Midland’s routes include many towns that are home to season ticket holders, and hopefully, this great offer will give them the convenience of travelling to home games by train,” said Saints chief executive Allan Robson.

“It is important that public transport is also a good option for season ticket holders, and we’re delighted that London Midland have been so willing to help us give this new benefit.”

Leighton Buzzard, Bletchley, Milton Keynes and Rugby stations are no more than 30 minutes’ travelling time from Northampton, and London Midland’s head of West Coast Services, Alan Giles, says that the company is looking forward to welcoming Season Ticket Holders as they travel by train to Franklin’s Gardens.

“We’re proud to serve Northampton, and over the years have carried Saints supporters as they get behind their team,” he said. “We’re delighted to be working with the Saints with this special offer for their season ticket holders as they travel to Franklin’s Gardens on a match day.”
