Police have warned anyone who may find tablets which were stolen from a car in Wellingborough to hand them in and not to take them.

A blue Ford Focus was broken into in Priory Road overnight on Thursday, August 20, to Friday, August 21, and a number of prescription tablets stolen police revealed this morning.

The Venlalic tablets were taken at some point between 6pm on Thursday and 7.10am on Friday.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.

They are also advising anyone who finds the tablets not to take them but to drop them into their local police station or pharmacy.
