A person in the Kings Heath area of Northampton died “suddenly” according to police, despite an air ambulance crew’s attempts to save them.

Air medics were called to the area of Northampton at around 11.15am on Sunday, September 20.

The crew from the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) required the assistance of police to land on Kings Heath Park as a number of people had gathered on the recreation area.

The helicopter managed to land, but a spokesperson for the service said: “Despite the best efforts of everyone on-scene, the patient unfortunately did not survive.”

A police spokesman said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
