A Northamptonshire Police car was involved in a collision at a crossroads in Northampton on Sunday morning.

The crash, involving one police car and a black Renault Scenic people carrier, happened at around 9.50am yesterday at the junction of Barrack Road and Campbell Street.

The area was cordoned off while debris and the vehicles were removed.

No one was injured during the crash.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: “Investigation to establish the cause of the crash are ongoing.

“If anyone saw anything then please get in touch.”

Witnesses or anyone with information can call police on 101.
