Several stages around Northampton hosted a range of acts across three days of high-quality music.
Friday to Sunday saw everywhere from Market Square to Abington Street lit up by song as part of Northampton Music Festival 2016.
Yoshe Watson, the project manager, said: “It was fantastic and really, really reflective of the incredible quality of music in the local area.
“The weather could have been a whole lot worse but when it did start to rain a bit on Sunday evening people were happy to dance in the rain to the last few bands in the Market Square.”
The ninth annual event saw stages at Eastgate, the Market Square, NN Courtyard in Guildhall Road, the courtyard of the Guildhall, All Saints Church and Abington Street.
Not only did members of the public turn out but the artists even supported each other by watching as many acts as possible.
San-D Godoy said: “It was my fourth year in a row of playing and I had so much fun. Love my home town. What a great day of watching so much musical talent.”
