The Northampton Market Square played host to street performers, a choir and entertainment from the Salvation Army band for this year’s annual festive Frost Fair.
The Christmas fair, which took place on Sunday, December 4, had over 70 stalls from local market traders, craftspeople and artists selling vintage crafts, collectables and festive food.
Christmas shoppers from all over the country were expected to attend the event with its unique gift ideas and handmade decorations.
The Frost Fair was organised in conjunction with the Magic Bean Café Fairytale Christmas, who showcased some sparkling entertainment on the day.
The Salvation Army band were on hand to play some festive favourites while the BBC stood by to record the carol service, which was performed around the Market Square Christmas tree in the late afternoon.
