Photographers and stargazers enjoyed seeing last night’s ‘supermoon’ which lit up the sky above Northampton.
The supermoon lit up skies across the world on Sunday night, dubbed as one of the year’s most dramatic lunar events.
The moon appeared 14 per cent bigger and 30 per brighter than normal as it reached the point in its orbit closest to earth, known as perigee.
The supermoon - which was brighter in other parts of the world - was captured by Northamptonshire photographers.
