The University of Northampton has officially opened its £8.5 million Innovation Centre.
The Innovation Centre, situated opposite Northampton Railway Station, offers 42 business units, a café and conference space.
The centre currently has 11 tenants.
A number of local dignitaries attended the opening ceremony on Wednesday including Northampton South MP David Mackintosh and former MP Brian Binley.
Terry Neville, Chief Operating Officer at the University of Northampton, said: “The University of Northampton Innovation Centre is a natural development for this University and enables us for further support the social innovation sector and businesses that tackle social problems in an enterprising way.
“Encouraging entrepreneurship is crucial to the University and significantly enhances the experience and employability prospects we offer to our students.”
