A pet tortoise is believed to have been stolen from his owner’s garden in Daventry.

The two-year-old Hermann tortoise was taken from a garden in Arnull Crescent, on the Headlands.

The tortoise, called Target, is about five to six inches long and was taken from his enclosure sometime between 7.45am and 5.30pm on Thursday June 9.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area during the times stated or has any information about the stolen tortoise, is ask to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
