Police in Rothwell are appealing for witnesses after two suspicious incidents in Cabot Close in the town.

Two sets of keys, including house and car keys were found on the doorstep of a house late in the afternoon of Friday, February 12.

The keys, pictured, did not belong to the householder and it is not known who they belong to.

Then at some point overnight from Sunday, February 14, to Monday, February 15, someone broke into the garden of the same property and killed a pet rabbit in its hutch.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the Cabot Close area of Rothwell in recent weeks.
