A Northampton-based energy supplier has announced it is taking on another 90 new staff in Northampton during the next year.

Opus Energy, which currently employs 450 staff at its Northampton and Oxford sites, is planning to take on dozens of new staff in its customer service centre in Moulton Park.

The firm, which has been listed in The Sunday Times Top Track 250 league table, is also planning to take on five new recruits to a new apprenticeship scheme.

Charlie Crossley Cooke, managing director, Opus Energy, said: “This year is particularly exciting for Opus Energy as we celebrate our 10th anniversary.

“We are extremely pleased to mark this milestone with recognition of our outstanding performance as a business over the last year. We look forward to another year of growth and the creation of new jobs to meet our continuing expansion.”

The Customer Service Advisor vacancies are advertised as a £16,000 per year salary, with a performance-related bonus of up to 10 per cent of annual salary.
