A nurse from Northampton who treated people in Sierra Leone during the Ebola crisis laid a wreath on Remembrance Sunday.

Sgt Vickie Dillon-Davies, a member of Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service, laid a wreath during the service held in Boothville.

The service was organised by Boothville Community Church, part of the Emmanuel Group of Churches, and was held around the Boothville sign.

Sgt Dillon-Davies works at the RCDM Oxford Emergency Department and was called to work in Sierra Leone during the Ebola Crisis. She laid the wreath by the cross of knitted poppies made by members and friends of the church.
