Northants MP to take part in series of pro Brexit meetings

A Northamptonshire MP and prominent voice in the Brexit camp is set to hold a series of public meetings in a bid to convince constituents to vote leave next month.

MP for Northamptonshire South, Andrea Leadsom, has staked her claim to the leave campaign mast over recent weeks, with appearances on the Andrew Marr Show and ITV News.

Now the energy minister is attempting to convince voters close to home with a series of public meetings in the county.

The first is due to take place on Thursday, May 26, at 7pm at Waynflete Hall, Magdalen School, Brackley.

She will then be part of a public rally at 1pm on Saturday, June 11, at the Piazza Market Place, Brackley, and on the same date at 5.30pm, she will take part in a Q&A at Towcester Town Hall.

Mrs Leadsom is also set to take part in two live debates against Stronger in Europe campaigners - at 6.30pm on Wednesday, June 1, at Sulgrave Manor, and at 7pm on Friday, June 10, at Silverstone University Technical College.
