A Northamptonshire drug dealer who was caught with a quantity of cocaine has received a 28-month jail sentence.
Philip Percival, aged 31, of Spinney Road, Rushden, appeared at Northampton Crown Court on Tuesday for sentencing after he was found with class A drugs on April 9 this year.
The court heard that Percival had 24 grammes of cocaine and 21 grammes of cannabis after he was arrested in Wellingborough.
Judge Adrienne Lucking QC sentenced Percival to 28 months in prison for possessing the cocaine with intent to supply and four months, to be served concurrently, for possession of the cannabis with intent to supply.
He is likely to serve 14 months in jail before being released on licence.
