Inspire Teaching Schools is an alliance of more than 40 infant and primary schools across the county, a high proportion of which are already rated good or outstanding by Ofsted.

It now has a full complement of schools eager for enthusiastic and talented new teachers.

Hall Meadow Primary School in Kettering is one of the three lead schools in the alliance.

Its headteacher Lorraine Cullen said: “Inspire focuses only on primary school support and the recruitment of the best teachers into this environment.

“Children thrive on support from the best teachers and there is firm evidence that energetic new students, who have a real desire to succeed in teaching, rise to the occasion when supported and coached by already successful schools.

“It is great news for college and university graduates that our partner schools can now offer placements to them from across the primary subject spectrum.

“The process is easy and Inspire supports these students in finding the most suitable placement by finding out about their motivation and skills well in advance.

“We then continue to mentor and counsel these young people to ultimately become the best they can be in some of the best schools across Northamptonshire.

“Time is of the essence though, so interested students need to contact us as soon as possible.”

Students with a degree can find out more by visiting the Inspire website where the Initial Teacher Training ITT pages will guide them on the process of enrolling.
