Police are appealing for information after a car accident that killed a Northamptonshire man.
The accident happened at around 12.30pm on Friday, August 19 when a black Vauxhall Astra travelling on the H3 Monks Way (A422) at the Stacey Bushes roundabout left the road and struck a metal fence.
The driver of the car, a 36-year-old man from south Northamptonshire, died at the scene.
His next of kin has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers from Thames Valley Police’s roads policing unit.
Investigating officer PC Matthew Braddish said: “I’d like to appeal to anybody who saw the collision take place to come forward.
“I am also interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen the black Vauxhall Astra immediately before the collision.”
PC Braddish thanked members of the public who attended the injured man and called the emergency services.
He added: “I’m also grateful for the patience and understanding of the public as the road was closed for four hours, to allow for a detailed forensic collision investigation to take place.”
