Cobblers chairman Kelvin Thomas is set to field questions from Northampton Town fans tomorrow as part of his first open forum at Sixfields.

The new club chief became chairman at the end of November following weeks of dramatic negotiations, which at one point looked as if he might step away from the deal.

But since taking over the Cobblers on-the-pitch form has continued to impress and the former Oxford United chairman currently sees his side take up second place in League Two with a game in hand.

The open forum will held at Sixfields in the 1897 Suite tomorrow (Thursday, January 7) at 7.30pm.

All supporters can attend to ask Mr Thomas questions.

Communications officer for Northampton Town, Gareth Willsher, said: “We are looking forward to an open meeting being held in positive circumstances with the team doing really well and in the afterglow of a new signing this week.

“This will give the chairman a chance to receive feedback from the club’s supporters. This will be supporters’ chance to put questions directly to the chairman.”
